Since their inception as the Philadelphia Warriors in 1946, the 4x NBA champions Golden State Warriors have been splashing and are definitely making a mark in NBA history with their players’ energy and talent, and many celebrate the genius-like orchestration by (going on third-year, since 2014) head coach Steve Kerr, management, and coaching staff which lead to their 2014-15 league championship title. Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Zaza Pachulia are Golden State’s 2016-17 season’s starting players, but many people are calling the “Dubs” a super team despite 7 player changes after the disappointing 2015-16 loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Finals.
Because of Kevin Durant’s huge contract, the Warriors have suffered key losses in their starting lineup with Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut moving to Dallas, and also key support players like Festus Ezeli, Leandro Barbosa, and Marreese Speights having left for other teams. It is still great to see Andre Igoudala and Shaun Livingston coming off the bench, as well as Ian Clark finally having more playing time to step it up for the team.
