As an illustrator and designer, Topher reimagined Franz Kafka's timeless work, "The Metamorphosis," through an artistic perspective. Employing monochrome watercolors, he crafted a series of illustrations that capture the surreal essence of Gregor Samsa's transformation. With purposeful typesetting and layout design, he highlighted specific excerpts to complement the illustrations and immerse the reader. These resulted in a different take of "The Metamorphosis," on hardcover which merged illustrations with Kafka's narrative, inviting readers to delve into this haunting tale of existential inquiry and change.
